The visit begins with a short walking tour of the oldest houses and yards in Ylläsjärvi village, where Johanna shares the stories behind the buildings, the people and the community that shaped the place over centuries.
You then step into Johanna's own traditional Finnish wooden house for the most personal part of the visit: making your own handcrafted Lappish souvenir from natural antler materials, rooted in local culture and the traditions of shamanism.
The visit finishes with a locally smoked salmon soup and a dessert prepared from Lapland recipes. Group size is a minimum of 4 and maximum of 8 participants.
