Santa Claus Village is a perfect family destination with loads of fun things to do — get ready for an unforgettable visit!
We'll start by picking you up from your hotel in Rovaniemi or from our office, then take a short ride to Santa Claus Village, where your friendly guide becomes your personal Santa's helper — showing you the village's best spots and taking wonderful pictures of you, which we'll send you later that day.
First stop is Santa's Post Office, where his little helpers are always busy. Then it's on to the Arctic Circle line itself, where you can step across it while your guide captures the moment.
You'll also see the Roosevelt Cottage, the oldest building in Santa Claus Village, built in 1950 for Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt's visit to the Arctic Circle — a neat piece of history.
When you get hungry, grab a snack or meal at one of the village restaurants (own cost). Afterwards you'll have free time to explore on your own — browse souvenir shops or visit the reindeer farm for a small extra fee.
We'll wrap up your Christmas adventure with a comfy ride back to your accommodation in Rovaniemi — come to the official hometown of Santa Claus and make it extra special.
We provide overalls and boots — please come prepared with good under-layers, warm socks, a hat, and gloves

Ride out from Tromsø in a heated van with a small group and your guide-photographer, chasing clear skies for as long as it takes — unlimited mileage, thermal gear, hot drinks and professional Aurora photos included.
Pickup in Tromsø. Your night starts with pickup in a modern, heated van, where your small group (max 8–20 guests) meets your professional guide — who is also your dedicated photographer.
Live Aurora tracking. Through the night, a back-office team combines satellite forecasts, weather models and live field reports to find where the sky is clearest. If conditions change, you move too — sometimes across the border — until the Aurora appears.
Arctic scenery above Tromsø. Surrounded by fjords, mountains and islands, Tromsø sits above the Arctic Circle and is one of the world's best-known places to see the Northern Lights. Unlimited mileage and flexible routes mean the search can range wherever the skies are clearest.
Under the Aurora. When the lights appear, you'll stand beneath the Arctic night sky while your guide captures the moment in professional DSLR photos, delivered securely online after the tour. Hot drinks, light snacks and thermal overalls keep you warm, even down to –40°C.
As long as it takes. Most tours last 3–4 hours; this one typically runs 6–10 hours with unlimited time and mileage, so the chase continues until the Aurora is found.
