You're picked up from your Helsinki hotel and transferred to the harbour for the ferry crossing to Tallinn, arriving around 11:15. A 3-hour guided walking tour takes in the Old Town, Town Hall Square, Toompea Castle and Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, followed by free time, before the return ferry departs at 18:30, arriving back in Helsinki around 21:00.
You're picked up from your chosen hotel in Helsinki city centre at the agreed time. Morning traffic can be heavy, so it's a good idea to be ready in good time — ferry check-in closes 30 minutes before departure.
From the port, you board a ferry for the crossing across the Gulf of Finland to Estonia, arriving in Tallinn at around 11:15.
Your guide meets you at the harbour for a 3-hour guided walking tour of the city. The tour takes in Tallinn's walled, cobblestoned Old Town, which dates from around the 15th century and is Estonia's only UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After the guided tour, you have free time to explore the Old Town's cafes, restaurants and small shops at your own pace.
At 17:30, you return to the agreed transfer meeting point, where a driver takes you back to the harbour for the ferry's 18:30 departure to Helsinki. Tromsø’s location above the Arctic Circle makes it one of the world’s best-known places to see the Northern Lights. Surrounded by fjords, mountains, and islands, it offers dramatic Arctic scenery as the backdrop for your chase. With our unlimited mileage and flexible routes, we often cross borders towards clearer skies — where others won’t go.
And when the Northern Lights appear, you’ll stand under the Arctic night sky while your guide captures professional DSLR photos. Warm drinks, light snacks, and thermal clothing keep you safe and comfortable, even in –40°C.
Most other tours on the market last 3–4 hours. We stay out as long as it takes — usually 6–10 hours — until you succeed.
