Your guide gives you a thorough briefing on how to operate the snowmobile before you set off, so no previous experience is needed.
You'll ride in a small group of up to four guests sharing snowmobiles, with your guide keeping visual contact with everyone throughout the roughly 2-hour excursion into the trackless Paistunturi wilderness. Additional guests can join as passengers on a sled towed behind the guide's snowmobile.
Extra winter clothing, a helmet and the license required to enter the wilderness area by motorized vehicle are all included; pick-up within 5 km of Utsjoki village can be arranged if needed.
Anyone driving must hold a valid driver's license and be at least 18; you're welcome to take turns driving a shared snowmobile or ride as a passenger the whole way.
