Arctic Ocean Tour: Bugøynes King Crab Fishing from Utsjoki

You're picked up from Utsjoki or Nuorgam for the roughly 2-hour scenic drive to the coast and the fishing village of Bugøynes, with stops along the way at scenic spots.

In Bugøynes you join local fishermen for a king crab fishing trip by boat, then head to the village bistro for a king crab meal.

Afterwards you have free time to explore the village — you can wander around, try a swim in the Arctic Sea, or reserve a sauna for an extra cost.

You're then driven back to your accommodation in Utsjoki or Nuorgam, with a stop possible at a Norwegian or Finnish supermarket on the way.

What to wear
Bring warm clothing even on warm summer days — the sea breeze can feel as cold as winter. A floatation overall is provided for the boat trip, but you'll need warm layers underneath it.
