First we drive to the reindeer farm by snowmobile on the frozen river*, where the reindeer herder welcomes us. On arrival at the farm you get to experience a short reindeer ride and take lots of pictures. After such a local experience, the herder will tell you stories about reindeer herding and the traditional way of life in Lapland. After a refreshing cup of coffee and cookies we are heading back to the city on a snowmobiling adventure to the heart of Rovaniemi, where the spirit of adventure meets the serenity of the Arctic wilderness.
*The access to the reindeer farm by snowmobile is seasonal and could change early December or late March.
