The Experience
Your night begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Kiruna. Step into a brand-new and heated 4x4 minivan, where your small group (max 8 guests) is welcomed by your professional guide — also your dedicated photographer.
Throughout the night, our back office coordinates live updates from 150+ team members and family across Lapland. This unique network ensures we always know where skies are clear. If conditions shift, we move too — sometimes across borders — until the Aurora appears.
Kiruna offers a truly Arctic environment far north in Swedish Lapland, surrounded by pristine wilderness, snowy forests, and vast open landscapes. Its remote location provides minimal light pollution and some of the clearest skies in Scandinavia, making it one of the best bases for Northern Lights hunting.
And when the Northern Lights appear, you’ll stand under the Arctic night sky while your guide captures professional DSLR photos. Warm drinks, light snacks, and thermal clothing keep you safe and comfortable, even in –40°C.
Most other tours on the market last 3–4 hours. We stay out as long as it takes — usually 6–10 hours — until you succeed.
