The day begins with pick-up directly from your accommodation in Tromsø. Once everyone is on board, your guide will give a warm welcome and a short overview of the journey ahead. This is a private experience, designed exclusively for your group, offering you the freedom to explore Northern Norway’s stunning coastline at your own pace.
As we leave the city behind, the landscape quickly opens up into dramatic fjords, valleys, snow-dusted peaks, white-sand beaches, and quiet inland lakes. The route toward Sommarøy is one of the most scenic in the region, and the drive itself becomes part of the experience.
A Flexible and Scenic Route
Throughout the journey, we’ll stop at several viewpoints and scenic spots, allowing time for photos, fresh air, and simply taking in the surroundings. With a private vehicle, there’s no rush — you decide if you want to linger longer in a peaceful spot, take a quiet walk by the water, or move on to the next beautiful location.
Wildlife sightings are often part of the experience. Keep your eyes open for sea eagles circling above, or reindeer grazing near the road. Your guide will help spot wildlife and share stories about local nature and life in the north.
Return to Tromsø
After exploring Sommarøy and the surrounding coastline, we begin the journey back to Tromsø. You’ll be dropped off at your accommodation with plenty of new memories and photos to take home.
