Late evening hours in the north have a very special atmosphere. Far away from busy roads and artificial lights, the snowy landscape becomes calm and almost magical beneath the stars. Depending on the weather and season, you may experience moonlit forests, sparkling snow, deep polar night colors or even the northern lights dancing across the sky.
Your adventure begins at our safari house in Levi, where we provide warm winter clothing together with safety instructions and guidance on operating the snowmobile. Once everyone is ready, we head out into the quiet Arctic night.
The route takes us through beautiful winter scenery across frozen marshlands, snowy forests and open landscapes illuminated only by the headlights of the snowmobiles and the Arctic sky above.
Halfway through the ride, we stop at a traditional wilderness hut to warm up by the fire and enjoy hot drinks and cookies in a cozy atmosphere before continuing deeper into the night.
This experience focuses especially on the feeling of driving through Lapland’s winter night — peaceful, scenic and unforgettable.
