1. Welcome & Meet the Huskies (30 mins)

Arrive at our quiet base in the heart of the national park. You'll meet your guide and be introduced to our alaskan huskies each with their own personality. This is your chance to connect, say hello, and learn about life with our dogs.

2. Husky Handling & Arctic Training (30 mins)

Learn how we build trust and communication through daily training. You’ll try basic commands, walk with a husky in harness, and learn what it takes to raise a working Arctic dog.

3. Guided Snowshoe Walk (1 hour)

Snowshoe alongside your husky on a peaceful trail through Lapland’s wilderness. Routes vary depending on conditions — from frozen lakes to old pine forests and open fells.

4. Forest Pause & Photos (15–20 mins)

Take a break in the quiet of the forest. We allow time for photos and questions along the way.

5. Return & Wind Down (30 mins)

Back at base, you’ll help remove harnesses and spend time with your husky. We finish with a warm drink and time to relax or ask questions around the fire.

Located in the Pallas–Ylläs National Park, you will experience the true Arctic Lapland away from crowds or large groups, led by the people who raise, train, and live with them year-round. Our Family tours are designed for families with younger children, offering short routes (1–3 km) through beautiful winter forests and open trails. Our family husky tours are intentionally small (maximum 5 guests), so you have time to truly get to know the dogs, and the dogs get to know you.We’ll share how we raise, train, and live alongside these animals in Arctic Lapland. You’ll take part in hands-on training, enjoy a hike or snowshoe through quiet wilderness with the dogs attached to a waist harness, and have time for connection, questions, and photography along the way.
