Want to combine the ice fishing with snowmobiling? Great! We will use our Riverside Lodge as the basecamp for this activity, and go further up the stream with our snowmobiles. This way we have more flexibility on selecting the perfect spot for fishing according to the date. Slow down and experience perhaps two of Lapland’s most traditional winter past times.
Your local guide will show you how to drill your own fishing hole, set the bait, and fish like a Finn. No rush, no noise - just the pack of ice and snow between you and the flowing river while you enjoy a hot drink and the freshest air in the world.
Our river is famous for grayling, trout, whitefish, perch, pike and roach. Granted, the fish is never guaranteed but we do have a real chance of catching us a nice natural lunch.
