YOUR PRIVATE SNOWSHOEING ADVENTURE
Enjoy a private winter hike tailored to your pace and interests in Lapland’s unspoiled nature. As this is a private tour, the guide can adapt the location to suit your physical level: the hike is generally around 3-4 km within a maximum of one hour from Rovaniemi, with the aim of reaching untouched remote lands or going deep into the forests. The experience is designed to explore elusive natural areas or reach some viewpoints.
Before the tour, our team will get in touch with you to discuss your wishes and suggest the best route and activity type based on what you would like to experience.
Along the way, your outdoor guide will explain the surroundings, the flora and fauna, footprints in the snow and so on. You will enjoy a short break with a hot drink and snack. This is an opportunity for your guide to answer any questions you may have about Lapland.
When booking, you will be able to choose between snowshoes or trekking skis. Snowshoes are easier to use on all types of terrain, but cover shorter distances. Altaï skis allow you to glide over deep snow, so you can go a little faster and further, but they can be more technical for hilltops or sloping terrain. In any case, both options are beginner-friendly. Please note that Altai skis are available at an additional cost (50€/group)
