Experience one of Lapland’s most stunning natural wonders on a guided hike to the frozen waterfalls of Korouoma Canyon. Located around 100 km from Rovaniemi, this unique destination turns into a magical frozen landscape during the winter months, with towering ice formations and peaceful snowy forests.
Your day begins with pick-up from your accommodation in Rovaniemi, followed by a scenic drive to the heart of Korouoma National Park. Once there, your guide will lead you on a 2 to 5 km hike along marked trails, stopping at scenic viewpoints and frozen waterfalls along the way. The pace is moderate and suitable for most guests with a basic fitness level.
During the hike, we’ll stop for a break and enjoy a warm campfire lunch in the forest.
