Snowmobile Adventure In The Arctic Forest

Snowmobiling is a way of life here in Lapland — used for work, for travel, and for exploring landscapes that no road will ever reach. On this guided snowmobile safari near Ylläs, you get a real taste of that Arctic freedom, led by locals who have been riding these trails for years.

After a thorough safety and driving session on our own training track, the group heads out into the wild: across frozen lakes, through snow-laden birch and pine forests, over open marshlands where the horizon stretches further than you'd believe. At the halfway stop, warm up with a hot drink and biscuits while your guide shares stories of Lappish life and what these snowmobiles really mean to people who live this far north.

Great for beginners starting from 13 years old. Small-group departures, maximum 10 adults. Single-drive upgrade available.

Please carry your valid driving license during the snowmobile safari, as police checks may occur. 

Wear appropriate layers for your comfort and safety: warm socks, a long thermal base layer and a warm mid-layer such as wool, fleece, or similar and a sweater under the thermal gear provided by us.
