We go to a local reindeer ranch near Inari village to feed the reindeers. If there is no snow or it is extremely cold, then we go by car, but always by snowmobile sleigh ride if it is possible. It is 2,4km drive by car and about same by sleigh from the meeting point.
You get to feed the deer with lichen from your own hand and you can take pictures with them as much as the reindeers allow. Some of them are really comfortable with people and some a bit distant and careful.
