After a safety briefing at the start point, your guide leads you into the Taiga forest, sharing insights on the trees, plants, and wildlife of Lapland as you go. Your guide will adjust the route and difficulty to match your ability.
In winter, expect snow-covered fells, frosted trees, and temperatures that can drop to -30°C — with fresh animal tracks from wolf, lynx, wolverine, moose, reindeer, weasel, and Arctic hare along the way.
Halfway through, your guide lights a campfire using flint & steel and natural materials — no matches or lighter needed, even at -30°C — and serves a typical Finnish campfire snack and hot drinks.
Groups are limited to 8 people maximum, so your guide gets to know you and can tailor the experience to your questions and interests.
