Located one hour away from Rovaniemi, the Ranua Wildlife Park is the northernmost wildlife park in the world. It consists of approximately 50 wild animal species and 200 individuals. In the park, it is possible to see polar bears, brown bears, wild reindeer, wolves, wolverines, lynxes, predatory birds, otters, wild boars, and so many others.
The park is Lapland’s leading tourist attraction for families, groups with children and animal-lovers all year round. The park is also part of different European programs for the protection of endangered species.
This private trip departs from Rovaniemi where your guide will pick you up at your hotel. They will then drive you to Ranua wildlife park, and will accompany you along the 2.5km gentle walk into the snowy forest that takes you from one animal habitat to another. Information about each animal will be provided by your guide and the different information boards.
After the visit of the park, you will enjoy a tasty buffet lunch in the restaurant and drive back to Rovaniemi.
