Your adventure begins at our office in Levi, where we provide warm winter clothing together with safety instructions and guidance on operating the snowmobile. From there, we head deep into the snowy landscapes towards the Pallas–Yllästunturi National Park area.
The route takes us through snow-covered forests, frozen swamps and wide open wilderness scenery. With approximately 100 kilometres of driving, this safari is ideal for guests who enjoy longer snowmobile rides and exploring remote Arctic landscapes.
After the ride, we arrive at our private wilderness lake, Kivijärvi, surrounded by peaceful winter nature. Here, we enjoy one of Lapland’s most traditional winter activities: ice fishing.
Your guide will provide all the necessary fishing equipment and explain the basics of ice fishing, making the experience suitable also for beginners. You may drill your own hole in the ice or use one prepared by the guide before trying your luck catching perch, whitefish or even trout beneath the frozen lake.
If you catch fish, your guide can prepare it for grilling over the open fire or pack it for you to take home. During the break, we also grill sausages and prepare coffee by the fire while enjoying the silence and beautiful scenery around us.
After the break, we return to Levi by snowmobile through the peaceful winter wilderness.
