Snowmobile Safari with Snowshoeing pairs two Arctic classics in one outing. Start with a hands-on driving lesson, then ride for over an hour through the snowy forests of the Arctic Circle, stopping to photograph the scenery. Finish with a quiet snowshoe hike through the peaceful Vikaköngäs forest, a calm contrast to the speed before it.
Step 1. Your guide starts with a snowmobile driving lesson, covering the essentials so you feel confident before setting off.
Step 2. You'll then ride for about 1 hour and 10 minutes through the snowy forests of the Arctic Circle, with scenic stops along the way for photos. The exact route depends on the group's driving skill.
Step 3. After the snowmobile ride, you'll head to the peaceful forest of Vikaköngäs to explore the winter landscape on snowshoes — a quiet contrast to the speed of the safari.
