Riisitunturi National Park Hike

Your hosts pick you up from your accommodation for the roughly two-hour drive to Riisitunturi National Park, one of Finnish Lapland's most remote and striking landscapes. Follow a 5km route through snowy forest, pausing at a campfire for hot drinks and a Lappish sausage BBQ, with optional snowshoeing before the drive back to your accommodation.

We'll pick you up from your accommodation for the drive to Riisitunturi National Park, a little over two hours from Rovaniemi.

Once there, we'll set off on a roughly 5 km route through one of Finnish Lapland's most striking and remote landscapes. Partway along, we'll pause by a campfire to rest with hot snacks from the BBQ and warm drinks.

If you'd like, you can also try snowshoeing, exploring the forest freely beyond the marked trails and taking in the quiet beauty of the winter scenery.

At the end of the hike, we'll drive you back to your accommodation.
