Your day starts with pickup and a drive to one of two family-run locations just outside Rovaniemi.
Option 1: Two visits with homemade lunch (5 hours, Tue/Thu/Sat, ages 4+)
Start at an ethical husky kennel, where mushers welcome you for about 1.5 hours of cuddles, photos, and stories around an open fire. Next, visit a long-established reindeer farm to watch feeding time and approach the semi-wild reindeer, finishing with a homemade salmon soup, hot drinks, and pancakes cooked over the fire (vegan option on request).
Option 2: Two visits with dog cart ride (5.5 hours, autumn only, Mon/Wed/Fri from Oct 1, ages 7+)
Spend the morning at the reindeer farm for feeding time and stories by the fire, then head to the husky kennel in the afternoon. After a driving briefing from the mushers, you'll steer your own wheel cart for 5–6km (about 20 minutes) through the autumn forest, then relax with the dogs afterward. Lunch isn't included in this option.
Your guide drives you back to Rovaniemi after each visit.
