Your visit begins at an authentic reindeer farm, where you meet the herders and their animals and learn about reindeer husbandry and traditional Lappish lifestyle. As the reindeer are still semi-wild, this is a rare chance to get close to them.
Option 1: The Morning Farm Visit (2h00–2h30, departs 09:00)
After the full farm visit, take the reins yourself for a self-driven sleigh ride of 400-600m. This option gives you the most time with the animals, with a short but hands-on safari.
Option 2: The Long Safari (2h30–3h00, departs 14:00)
You're introduced to your own reindeer and sleigh, then a herder leads the caravan on a longer ride of around 35 minutes through beautiful snowy forest landscapes. Afterwards, spend time back at the farm where herders answer your questions about reindeer husbandry.
