Spend a day living like a local: start with a visit to a long-established reindeer farm, where herders welcome you to feed and photograph their reindeer while sharing stories of their lifestyle.
From there, your guide takes you deep into the forest to a wilderness cabin with its own log sauna, set beside a quiet lake with no electricity or running water — just nature all around. Your guide lights the wood-burning stove and shows you the traditional Finnish way to sauna, with a pontoon leading straight into the lake for those brave enough to take a dip between sauna sessions.
Everything you need — towels, soap, and birch tar oil — is provided, and the whole experience is completely private, with hot drinks prepared for you in the cabin.
