This private tour is for families, groups of friends or couples who'd rather not join a shared bus tour — group size is 1 to 6 people at a fixed price.
The evening starts with pickup from your address, followed by a safety briefing and a presentation explaining the science behind the Northern Lights. Your guide then drives to remote locations with minimal light pollution, chosen as the best spots to see and photograph the aurora's greens and purples.
Guides give photography tips, with tripods and cameras available on request, and capture professional photos of you with the aurora, delivered to your email after the tour. Dress warmly — thermal clothing is recommended.
The tour runs roughly 5 hours or more, approx. 8 PM to 1 AM. If needed, guides will cross into Sweden to maximize your chances (no passport required), and the meeting point is wherever you're staying. Tours run late August to April, aurora season.
