Sit back in a comfortable sledge, gently towed by snowmobile, as you glide into the serene snowy landscapes Lapland is famous for — perfect for families with young children or anyone who prefers not to drive.
During the evening excursion we venture through an enchanting snowy forest, stopping along the way for photos and, if you like, a chance to swap drivers. Adults enjoy snowmobiling while children ride comfortably in a sleigh pulled by our guide.
Halfway through, we make a longer stop for warm drinks and sweet snacks amid the winter landscape — and if luck is on our side, the Northern Lights may make an appearance overhead.
This family-friendly adventure is kept to a small group of no more than 8 guests, so everyone gets our full attention and a genuine connection to Lapland's wilderness.
Good to know: you'll spend roughly 1.5–2 hours outdoors within the 3-hour tour (which includes transfers). Two adults typically share one snowmobile; a single-rider supplement (60€/person) is available on request — email sales@wildaboutlapland.com to arrange it. Children ride in the guide-towed sledge, and the snowmobile driver is responsible for the vehicle, with liability capped at €1000 per person in case of an accident.
