Your visit begins at Fox Cottage on the Ounasjoki river, where you put on winter clothing before heading out.

• Take an invigorating walk through the snowy winter forest, learning about Lapland's hibernating nature and winter phenomena.
• Watch traditional herbal cosmetics being made and enjoy a refreshing herbal tea, known for its health benefits.
• Warm up in the log sauna of Fox Cottage and enjoy a caring herbal foot bath, or choose a herbal hand treatment instead - all herbs are collected from the surrounding forest.
• Optionally, book a relaxing soak in the hot tub on the terrace while you take in the Lappish scenery.
• Finish with a traditional Finnish dinner served in the cozy lounge of Fox Cottage.

What to wear

• Bring your swimming suit for the sauna and hot tub.
• You're welcome to wear your own outdoor or winter clothing; overalls and winter boots are provided if you need them.
