At a family reindeer farm deep in Lapland's forests, you'll meet and harness your own reindeer before setting off on the region's longest reindeer safari — a 7km trail lasting around 2 hours.
If snow conditions allow, you steer the sleigh yourself; two participants share each sleigh and can swap between driving and riding.
Halfway through, you'll stop by a fire for Finnish barbecue snacks and feed the reindeer some lichen.
You'll ride back to the farm by a different route where possible, with time to browse souvenirs or take photos, before your guide drives you back to Rovaniemi.
