Foraging for wild berries and mushrooms in Lapland is a tradition as old as life in the Arctic itself — and on this small-group tour, you'll do it the authentic way, guided through pristine forest to pick nature's treasures.
You'll be picked up from your Rovaniemi accommodation in a 4×4 van and driven to untouched forest, far from the tourist paths. Your guide shows you how to identify edible mushrooms and berries, and depending on the season you may find blueberries, lingonberries or the rare Arctic cloudberry.
Midway through, pause to rest and enjoy warm drinks in the silence of the forest — a simple, authentic Lapland tradition, led by a family-run local guide team.
