Getting ready. You'll be fitted with winter overalls, boots, a hat and gloves before setting off — wear warm layers underneath, such as a wool sweater, thermal underwear and thick socks.
Into the forest. It's roughly a 30–45 minute drive from Rovaniemi city centre to a privately owned location deep in the forest at Pattaskivalo.
A full day of Arctic activities. Meet and feed friendly reindeer, ride a snowmobile-towed sled through the snowy forest, try your hand at downhill sledding on gentle slopes, and follow a peaceful lantern-lit forest trail.
Warming up. Gather around an open fire in a cozy wooden hut to enjoy local Lappish snacks and warm drinks.
Heading back. The day ends with a return drive to Rovaniemi, where you'll change out of your winter gear before being dropped off at your chosen location.
