The adventure starts with a 90-minute drive from Rovaniemi to Korouoma Canyon, where the Korojoki River runs between cliffs over 100 meters high.
Guided by a professional photographer, you hike through Arctic nature and Nordic forests toward the massive frozen waterfalls that cascade down the cliffs in winter.
Along the trail, frozen rivers and rugged gorges create dramatic scenery, with your guide helping you find the best spots for photos.
We stop at a lean-to to build a fire, where your guide prepares a light lunch, before resting by the campfire to take in the frozen waterfalls and surrounding wilderness.
