Hike into Korouoma Nature Reserve, a protected canyon in Posio stretching roughly 30 kilometres and up to 130 metres deep, carved into the Lapland wilderness.
Your guide leads you along the canyon floor and down into the gorge, where three frozen waterfalls rise in sculpted columns of ice — a sight that also draws ice climbers from across Finland.
Keep an eye out for the varied wildlife and plant life the reserve is known for as you make your way through the snow-covered valley.
Afterwards, warm up with a traditional Lappish barbecue cooked over an open fire before the hike back.
