The experience
Your day begins with a comfortable drive of around 105km from Rovaniemi into the wilderness of Korouoma National Park in a heated, brand-new 2025 Ford Tourneo van. From there, your guide leads a scenic 4–6km hike through snowy forest and into the canyon, where towering walls of ice and glittering icicles make Korouoma world-famous.
Midway, you'll pause for a wilderness break — hot drinks and grilled sausages around an open fire, a true Lapland tradition, surrounded by the canyon's frozen beauty.
The tour requires moderate fitness, as winter conditions can make the trail more challenging, and is not recommended for children under 8.
