Welcome to experience Lapland’s beautiful Korouoma canyon, its stunning nature and icy waterfalls that descend on the edges of the Korouoma cliffs.
This experience will offer nature-loving people amazing views, opportunities for hiking and wonderful memories. This is the only trail in Finland where you can wonder at icy waterfalls.
Korouoma is a long northwest–southeast valley about 30km in length. It was formed when ice from the Ice Age fractured the millions-of-years-old bedrock. Now it is a nature preserve that gives access for hiking and beautiful viewpoints. After touring the valley we stop by the campfire at a lean-to shelter to enjoy warm juice and a snack.
The whole trip to Korouoma canyon lasts about 6 to 7 hours, including the drive there and back, the hike, and the picnic. Please note that the tour time will change depending on the weather and hiking skills of participants.
