Your morning begins with pickup from your accommodation, heading out to a family-run husky farm just outside Rovaniemi.
At the farm, the owner and her assistants will join you for a 2 km walk through the forest alongside some of the huskies. Along the way, you'll learn about the daily life and training of these Arctic sled dogs — many of them return north to retrain for sled racing after a long summer break in the south. Partway through the walk, your hosts will build a fire so you can warm up with coffee, tea, or hot chocolate while the dogs enjoy their own snack.
After the walk, you'll have the chance to enter the enclosure and meet the rest of the pack, who are always happy to play.
At the end of the visit, you'll be driven back to your accommodation.
