Arrival. Head out to Porovaara, a reindeer pasture far enough from Rovaniemi's city lights to give the sky a real chance to perform.
Campfire. Settle in around an open fire, grill your own sausages, and let the evening slow down — just you, the flames, and the Arctic quiet.
Reindeer. Meet and feed the reindeer grazing right on the pasture.
Northern Lights. Keep watch overhead — this dark-sky spot, well away from town, is one of the better places near Rovaniemi to catch the aurora on a clear, active night.
