We head out at prime Aurora-viewing time, most likely visible between 21:00 and midnight, and explain what the Northern Lights are and why they appear in the north.
We check several locations, prioritizing an open-landscape sighting spot on clear nights for the best chance of seeing the Aurora.
Hot beverages and a snack are served during the outing.
The total program runs 4 hours, with about 3 hours spent on the actual excursion.
