Your private guide leads you through the Samiland exhibition, tracing the differences between the Skolt Sami and Mountain Sami communities — their traditional livelihoods, building techniques and the myths that shaped their worldview. An outdoor section shows real examples of Sami structures and reindeer husbandry, and explains how ancient herding practices continue in modern reindeer herding today.
In winter, the visit includes the chance to meet and feed reindeer, with no crowds and no rush — just you, your guide and the animals in the Arctic quiet.
From the exhibition, you drive with your guide to one of the tour's secluded fireplaces, away from larger group tours. There you warm up by an open fire, sip freshly brewed coffee and bake your own cinnamon bun on a stick — a traditional Lapland way to relax outdoors.
