Setting off from Levi in the morning, the safari climbs steadily toward Yllä fell, Levi's neighbouring summit at 718 metres above sea level. Watch the scenery open up from forest to open tundra as you near the top.
At the summit, take time to catch your breath and admire the panoramic views before settling in for a buffet lunch.
The return ride covers the same spectacular terrain back to Levi. Given the roughly 130km distance and 5-6 hour duration, single snowmobiles are recommended for comfort, and the trip runs weather permitting.
