Your night begins with pickup from your accommodation in Kiruna. You step into a brand-new, heated 4x4 minivan, joining a small group of up to 8 guests welcomed by your professional guide — who is also your dedicated photographer.
Throughout the night, the team tracks live conditions from members across Lapland, so if skies clear up elsewhere — sometimes across the border — you move to chase them.
Kiruna's remote position in far-northern Swedish Lapland means minimal light pollution and some of the clearest skies in Scandinavia for spotting the Aurora.
When the Northern Lights appear, you'll stand under the Arctic sky while your guide captures professional DSLR photos of the moment. Warm drinks, light snacks and thermal clothing keep you comfortable, even in temperatures as low as –40°C.
Most tours elsewhere last 3–4 hours; this one stays out as long as it takes — typically 6–10 hours.
