Arrive in style. Travel about 2.4km to a local reindeer ranch near Inari, riding a snowmobile sleigh when conditions allow (or by car if there's no snow or it's extremely cold).
Feed the herd. Hand-feed the reindeer lichen and snap photos as they allow — some are curious and comfortable with people, while others stay a little more distant and careful.
