Itinerary

Aurora Hunting by Minivan

We’ll pick you up from your accommodation for this three-hour trip in the Ivalo area to search for the Northern Lights. We will stop occasionally to search for the northern lights at potential spots in the Ivalo, Inari, and Saariselkä areas, depending on your starting location. This activity includes roasting sausages over an open fire, along with tea, hot chocolate, or homemade hot berry juice. The ride lasts approximately two hours, and the time by the open fire is about one hour.

In October, our Northern Lights tours will exceptionally be done by car (4x4 vehicle) instead of a minibus.

Your Aurora Hunting by Minivan tour begins with pickup from your accommodation in the Ivalo, Inari or Saariselkä area.

Over a three-hour outing, your guide drives to the best potential viewing spots nearby, stopping to watch for the Northern Lights along the way — about two hours on the road in total.

Along the way, warm up at an open campfire with roasted sausages, tea, hot chocolate or homemade hot berry juice — around an hour by the fire.
