Discover Sipoonkorpi National Park with a professional wilderness guide, who leads you along forested trails while sharing insights into Finnish wildlife and nature. The trail leads to a rocky vista overlooking a freshwater lake, where you’ll enjoy a campfire barbecue lunch.
After lunch, continue on to the smoke sauna — a 6 km hike in total — for time to relax, swim, and enjoy a traditional Finnish smoke sauna.
- Discover the beauty of Finland in a national park
- Easy and rewarding hike with a barbecue lunch
- Enjoy sauna with locals in a safe environment
- A truly local experience with food, sauna and swimming
Warming up to traditions. In the sauna, heated to around 80–100°C, water is thrown on the rocks — this is called “löyly”. It sends a wave of heat through the sauna, bringing relaxation.
Sit, swim, sweat, repeat. After the sweat comes the swim: step outside to cool down and breathe in fresh air by the freshwater lake, then head back into the sauna to warm up again. Three swims is considered the magic number — and in winter, brave guests can take the famous arctic dip in the ice water.
